2013 Photo Contest Winners – Most Mischievous Kiddo

Winners were determined based first upon judging from the members of my photographers group. “Likes” played a factor in determining position for those that were too close to call. And those with significant numbers of likes were certainly considered.

Prizes in each category will be as follows (to be redeemed within 12 months of the contest end):

• 1st Place: A free portrait session* session for the child with 5 image files
• 2nd Place: A free birthday party** session for the child
• 3rd Place: A free 16×20 image (from a previous or future session)

* Portrait Sessions include up to 1 hour at 1 location – prints are not included
**Birthday party sessions include me taking pictures at the party for up to 2 hours and a CD of up to 150 unedited images from that party

The voting has started for my “That Cute Kid Deserves a Photo Shoot” Contest. Visit my Facebook Fan Page to cast your votes. I’m so excited to see who wins!

Facebook requires people to be a fan of my business page in order to “like” or comment on an image. Voters can vote on as many pictures as they like. I absolutely will not tolerate someone making mean or inappropriate remarks about a child or their family!

“That Cute Kid Deserves a Photo Shoot” Contest

As many of you know, for the last two years I’ve held a baby photo contest, offering discounted sessions with an image from the session entered in a voting contest to win prizes. Well, because of the new baby in our house, I won’t be able to do the mad February scramble, booked nearly every day of the week, to get all the photo shoots taken care of. But I still desperately wanted to see all those adorable faces… so I came up with this.

There are only three qualifications to enter this contest:

1. You have to “like” my photography business page
2. You need to be willing to come to Springfield for the photo session prize, or live within 20 miles of Springfield for me to come to you
3. Your kid has to be cute!

I will accept one image of your cute kiddo between now and 11:59pm on February 13th. Images must be sent to michelle@eternalimage.biz in JPG format with the following information:

• Parent’s Name
• Parent’s Address
• Parent’s Email and Phone Number
• Child’s Name
• Child’s Age (in months if under 1 year old)

Submissions that fail to provided the required information will not be entered in the contest, so make sure you include everything in your email. If you have multiple children you want to enter, please send a separate email for each child’s submission (it will just help me stay organized).

There will be the following categories for the contest:

• 0 – 11 months
• 1 – 2 years
• 3 – 4 years
• 5 – 8 years

Children in the 0-11 month category need to have a picture no more than 30 days old. For the other categories, we’ll go with something taken within the last 6 months. However, lets say your child just turned a year old and is in the 1-2 year category – your picture will need to be pretty recent b/c a picture of him/her at 6 months old won’t be relevant.

On February 14th (Valentine’s Day), I will post the album on my business page and voting will commence under the following guidelines:
